Auglaize Industries, Inc. is dedicated to improving the quality of life for adults with disabilities living in and around Auglaize County, Ohio. We are about people! The many smiling faces above and below perhaps say more about our program than words can begin to tell!
Auglaize Industries is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization contracting with the Auglaize County Board of Developmental Disabilities for the primary purpose of providing Adult Day Habilitation Services to eligible adults with disabilities. To accomplish our mission, the sheltered workshop program contracts with many area businesses to provide light assembly and packaging services, creating work opportunities for approximately 90 adults. Another 40 adults participate in daily non-vocational options which include a Seniors' program, Adult Activity for adults with severe and multiple disabilities, and Skills and Thrills, a newly-created hands-on program open to most everyone in the workshop.

In the Spring of 2012 twenty-six eager contestants began the lengthy six to eight week process that would eventually result in male and female "Auglaize Idol" singing champs at the annual ARC banquet in late April. The annual workshop competition is in its sixth year and is as popular and competitive as ever. Three finalists were chosen from the large field of male and female contestants with all finalists singing to the crowd of over 100 attendees at the ARC banquet. Those family members attending the banquet cast their votes for the winners. This year's winners were Sarah Wintzer and Jerome Brown, pictured above with their tough competition.
